CAPSTONE REASEARCH
Reasons for Prosthesis Rejections Among People with Acquired Upper Extremity Amputations: A Qualitative Study

The purpose of this phenomenological qualitative study will be to understand why some individuals with an acquired upper extremity amputation reject prosthetics. This will help develop an understanding of what types of adaptations a person would have to make in order to participate independently in everyday activities.

We will be presenting our capstone research at the 2017 annual SVSU SOTA conference, March 24th.
